My name is AJ Forton, and I am the person behind Open Closet Books. I started this business to create a safe space for people to buy affordable new and used queer books. I wasn't in the financial position to start a business, but I saw a need in our community during this rough political and social climate. At a time where being queer has become more marginalised than ever, availability and visibility of fiction, authors, and artists that reflect us has become more important than ever. I've made a good start, but with your donations, we can continue to make sure this art is seen, and available to those who need it.
